The Huntington Palisades
The Huntington Palisades is Village-adjacent neighborhood with sidewalks, underground utilities, wide avenues and beautiful old growth trees. Some of the homes in this part of Pacific Palisades (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pacific_Palisades,_Los_Angeles,_California) have stunning ocean and coastline views.
The mild climate, cooling on-shore breezes, and relatively insect-free environment were (and certainly still are) benefits that popularized development of this luxury-priced neighborhood.
The residents of Huntington Palisades enjoy proximity to the Palisades Recreation Center, with its night-lit tennis courts (and tennis camp), baseball diamonds, jungle gyms, and indoor basketball courts. Palisades Village is host to excellent and chic shopping and restaurants, and a Sundy morning Farmer’s Market. This desirable neighborhood boasts an average lot size of 7,700 Square Feet (110X70). By Chautauqua Blvd., it is instantly accessible to PCH.
It was one of the first areas to be fully appreciated by Rev. Charles H. Scott and the Southern California Methodist Episcopal Church. Chautauqua Blvd. was named for the Chautauqua-style gatherings of the founding religious group.
