The Jewel in the Crown of West Side Los Angeles, Westwood was originally developed in the 1920's. Many buildings, homes and churches are remarkable examples of Spanish Colonial/Mediterranean architecture, popular in the 1930's. The single family residential neighborhoods east and west of the campus and Village area, attest to the thoughtful planning of Westwood's founding fathers and developers.
The East Coast/Mid Western sensibilities employed in the wide, tree-lined avenues of Little Holmby, is a welcome site to buyers relocating from other states, hungry for a park-like residential feel.
